Beauty Style ♥ June Beauty Favourites

It’s the beginning of July and we have had some amazing sunshine, hence the slightly delayed post on my June beauty favourites. Here it is though…it’s a good one, worth the wait believe me!

Starting with the Mac Lightful Softening Lotion, although this product is called a lotion, it is actually a toner and a great one! It is great used just after the cleanser from the lightful range. It smells lovely and tones the skin well, ready to follow with a light moisturiser. The packaging allow you to be very careful with how much product you use, you only need 3-4 drops for your whole face and neck. I haven’t been using it long enough for brighter looking skin but so far I still love it ♥

Don’t you just hate it when you’ve spent a good amount of time back-combing your hair and it looks great only to find that by the time you’ve made it to the car your hair is flat as a pancake?? Well ladies, this Umberto Giannini spray literally is ‘backcomb in a bottle.’ Now the results aren’t quite as volumising as the image on the can but it is a great product and it leaves a great texture to your hair without it feeling stiff and hard but still keeps it in place. Big Hollywood hair…yes!

If you follow me on instagram and twitter you’ll know I am a little bit obsessed with contouring and highlighting, I love it! This little sleek kit is great and it’s only £6! It comes in three shades; light, medium and dark, I am using medium. I love how the bronzer is light enough to build up for a more sculpted look. The highlighter is also great but I have to admit I still love Mac’s soft and gentle from my May favourites

I have always used Mac eye-shadow primers, they are great. These little paint pots are fabulous and last for absolutely ages, I had my last one for over a year and used it everyday! ‘Mooncake’ is a very nude shade and even looks great on it’s own. It is packed with a lot of glitter (which I love!) and a little really does go a long way, hence the product lasting for so long! It is so easy to smooth on to your eyelids with a brush or just your finger and once it’s on and set, it is not going anywhere. The best bit is…it’s crease free and the glitter doesn’t fall out as it’s a creamy texture. As it’s such a nude shade it would look gorgeous on any skin tone ♥

The Bourjous intense eye-shadow in shade 09 is a great intense colour to create smokey eyes but I love it for filling in my brows! When looking at the product you can see small specs of glitter but these don’t show in your brows, trust me! It is a great affordable shade for filling in brows, if you have dark hair…obviously!

My bonus beauty favourite this month has to be my new scent, Chance by Chanel. I love the sweet but classic scent, the bottle and packaging could be a bit more glamorous but the scent makes up for it all…I love it ♥
