As 2012 comes to an end let us look back at the most remembered celebrity weddings of 2012 ♥
What’s not to love about a wedding? The flowers, the guests and most importantly the dress! Vera Wang is always the most obvious choice but Valentino, Marchesa and John Galliano have also designed wedding dresses for friends this year.
Secret, intimate weddings are a trend amongst celebrity weddings and this is exactly what Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds did for their wedding in South Carolina back in September. The setting was of the same scenery in ‘The Notebook’ film and in collaboration with Martha Stewart Weddings magazine.

Blake Lively wore a wedding gown by Marchesa and a gorgeous bouquet made up of pink jasmine, andromeda, dusty miller and blushing bride hydrangea. The groom, Ryan Reynolds wore a custom made Burberry suit.
Justin Timberlake and actress Jessica Biel had a contrast affair in November with an extravagant wedding, estimating $6.5 million ♥
The fairytale wedding was in Italy where the groom wore a tuxedo by Tom Ford which Justin helped to design. Jessica Biel went against the norm of ivory and white wedding gowns and wore blush pink, the dress was a custom -made Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown and looked stunning.

After starring in a film like The Devil Wears Prada, your wedding dress is going to be more talked about than the actual wedding and this is exactly what happened to actress Anne Hathaway.

Her wedding to Adam Shulman in California was beautiful, with 150 guests but the dress…the dress was by Valentino ♥

Holly Valance also wore a fairytale like wedding gown by J’Aton Couture for her wedding in Beverley Hills to Nick Candy. Simon Cowell was amongst the guest list of around 300 family members and friends.
One of our favourite TV personalities, Dermot O’Leary, married girlfriend Dee Koppang after ten years together! Dermot still kept it real by driving himself to the ceremony in a vintage car, even though his guest list was a celebrity call out.

The wedding took place in Kent, in September ♥
Another TV favourite (and my personal favourite) is James Corden. He married long-term girlfriend, TV producer Julia Carey in Somerset. Another guest list full to the brim with celebrities, Lara Stone, Jamie Rednapp and David Williams were present at the £250,000 ceremony in September.

The bride wore a beautiful lace wedding dress by designer Monique Lhuillier, which consisted of a fully fitted basque and cost £8,000. James, wore a navy suit by Saville Row designer Spencer Hart ♥
Another star studded affair was Kate Moss’s three day wedding extravaganza to Jamie Hince, in July.

Kate had 15 bridesmaids and wore a vintage-style cream lace dress, designed by close friend John Galliano. As always, Kate looked effortlessly stunning ❤

Singer Lily Allen wore a dress by French designer Delphine Manivet for her wedding with Sam Cooper. The couple announced they were three months pregnant at their wedding reception ♥
In June, Margherita Missoni married racing driver Eugenio Amos. Her dress however, was designed by her good friend Giambattista Valli, rather than asking her very talented family. The dress was made using Missoni silk and organza so the family trend was still intact.
Finally, a highly anticipated wedding this year has to be when a girl from The Saturdays and a member of JLS join in holy matrimony. The wedding of Rochelle Wiseman and Marvin Humes at Blenheim Palace, in August.

Rochelle wore a beautiful strapless gown by none other than Vera Wang, with layers of organza creating a fishtail. The dress also had a satin bow embellished with pearls around her waist with tassels draped down her side. She held a simple bouquet of white roses ♥
A huge congratulations to all the couples who married in 2012 and to those who married in the last few days (Kate Winslet!) Here’s to the weddings gowns, bouquets…oh and couples for 2013 weddings coming up ♥
