I’m sorry if you think it’s too early to think about Christmas but it dawned on me this morning when looking at the calendar. We’re already in mid-October, I for one have a huge family wedding in three weeks so before I know it I’ll be 6 weeks away from Christmas and then in a blink of an eye it will be Christmas! (Also, there’s some things in this post I just couldn’t wait to share with you!) Every year when I go to the Boots Christmas Press Day I am always amazed with the amazing gift ideas and brands they have to offer and this year was no different. Reiss and Orla Kiely are two new fashion brands to join the Boots Christmas gift sets this year and let me tell you these are lush! Of course all the existing brands, many of which are exclusive to Boots have really upped their game this year, with trend forward prints and quirky packaging.

Soap & Glory never disappoints when it comes to products in general and gift sets, their Christmas gift sets fly off the shelves! They are always such good value for money and this year you can get your favourite make-up items all in a couple of well thought out gift sets.

One of my favourite gift sets is the pack of Soap & Glory crackers which are perfect to hand out on Christmas dinner or boozy lunch with the girls. You are guaranteed that nobody will be disappointed with the contents of their cracker!

While we are talking exclusive to Boots gift sets, can we just take a moment for this Smashbox gift set.

It has mini versions of our Smashbox faves like the Full Exposure mascara and the Photo Finish primer…wow! Do not even get me started on their new palette and the brush set (reviews coming up soon!)

SEVENTEEN also has some gorgeous gift sets for girls who are just getting into make-up or pros who love a bit of colour.

Judging by the contents and packaging, I think the gift sets are aimed more at younger girls or women but individual products from SEVENTEEN are definitely worth a try.

This year I was blown away by the fragrance offering, everyone knows Boots sells fragrance and offers some outstanding gift sets at Christmas that’s nothing new. However, a couple of key things I would like to point out. Firstly, it is someone’s job to work on and develop the Christmas gift sets all year round…I want her job! Also a lot of the gift sets are exclusive to Boots. Now here is the Christmas sparkle! This year Boots are offering a free engraving service, so you can by your loved one their favourite fragrance but have their name, Merry Christmas, With Love, Will You Marry Me engraved on the bottle. All individual bottles are presented in an easy but gorgeous gift box and the finishing touch is that you also get a small hanging decoration with your full-sized fragrance which can be opened on Christmas day to reveal a mini bottle of the fragrance.

So this is almost everything I just had to share with you and just couldn’t wait until we were officially in the ‘Christmas period’. I hope I helped you #DiscoverMore from Boots and on a side note, you can order from Boots online up until 9pm to any store and your order is guaranteed to get there the next day (right up until Christmas Eve!)
