Brows have been a huge craze for a while now and I tend not to touch upon the subject as generally me and my brows do not get along! I know it is almost a crime in the world of Instagram, but my eyebrows have always been pretty low-key. My routine merely consisted defining the brows with a dark eyeshadow. Now that I have a routine to share here it is.
Of course my brow routine consists of these wonderful Benefit brows goodies of which the packaging is just so pretty!
I actually start my brow routine the night before, yes that’s right. I use the Browvo conditioning primer to condition my brows overnight. The applicator stimulates the skin around the brows which then makes the brows appear fuller and thicker. After just a week of using this overnight I really noticed a difference in my brows and areas I had gaps were starting to fill. This can also be used under brow makeup to prolong the wear.
My most used product that I find easiest to use is the Goof Proof brow pencil, or twists up easily and glides on the skin so smoothly. I use this to define and fill my brows daily and for special occasions I use this to start defining my brows as it is so easy to use. The spoolie-brush on the other end is great for blending out any harsh and defining the ends. This is a long-lasting pencil which feels almost gel-like and is very low maintenance which I love.
First off I was a bit wary of using KA Brow as I thought it would make my brows look harsh and OTT but in fact you can use small brush strokes which mimic hairs, filling your eyebrows perfectly. This does take a bit of precision that’s why I use the goof proof to define with an initial line first. This is a creamy buildable product so if you want more definition you just need to build on top of it.
I always like to finish my brow routine (after powder and blush) with the very well-known Gimme Brow. This is also my go-to product for when I am in a rush and don’t have the time or patience to define my brows. This is such an easy product to give you fuller looking brows with an easy to use tapered brush. It also gives your brows holding power keeping any stray hairs in place without looking shiny which a lot of gels do.
As promised you can see my full brow routine in the video below.
