I am completely obsessed with contouring and yes I have to admit I am guilty of contouring on a daily basis. I was first introduced to it when I went for my wedding make-up trial with Jawaad and could not believe how amazing my cheeks and jawline looked. The obsession began and I was on a constant search for the perfect contouring products to achieve that Kim Kardashian contoured look. Then, I discovered the art of contouring my nose, the secrets of the upside down triangle highlight and here we are…a contour junkie!
I promise you it does not take long and requires very little effort, powder products are the easiest to use and quick so this is what I use everyday. For an all day event or special occasion when I want my skin to look flawless I use cream contour products first and then powder products to add definition. Watch my video and you’ll see how easy it is but still makes a huge difference to your make- up look, I have shared with you some of my secret tips I have picked up myself and from the wonderful world of beauty ♥

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Biscuit from Selfridges – great for concealing and highlighting your cheekbones, bridge of your nose and forehead. Gives your skin a radiant glow so it’s brilliant for the under eye area.
Beauty Blender – very quickly has become an essential for blending and application!
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer from Boots – a good alternative to the Nars radiant creamy concealer but doesn’t give that glow. Better as a concealer rather than a highlighter and not as creamy.
Illamasqua Skin Base in Deep 2 from Selfridges – great for defining the cheekbones and adding extra warmth to your face, especially if you are a little scared of using a darker cream contour straight away.
Sigma F05 Contour Brush – amazing for applying powder products and blending cream products, the perfect contour brush
MAC 217 from Selfridges – this little brush is a must-have for all! A beauty addict needs at least two ♥
Sleek Contour Kit in Medium from Boots – an easy contour kit which is a powder duo and lasts all day.
YSL Touche Éclat – this has been a must-have for me for years now! I have always used it to highlight above my cheekbones and now I use it on the bridge of my nose and cupid’s bow.
Sigma P84 brush – I love this brush for blending, it easy cleverly shaped to fit nicely into the corners of your eyes for easy application
Ben NYE Banana Powder – heard so many rave about this and it’s known as a Kim Kardashian West must-have, I can certainly see why! It is so gorgeous for setting the concealed and highlighted areas.
Nars Matte Multiple in Cappadoce from Selfridges – since I got this a month ago I have done nothing but rave about it, it’s already featured in at least four videos! So creamy, blendable and easy to use plus the coverage lasts all day.
MAC MIneralise Skin Finish from Selfridges – a lush lightweight powder to diminish any unwanted shine, my holy-grail powder.
HD Brows blush – for a natural pop of colour to the cheeks
Mac Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle – if you know me and my blog, I don’t need to explain the love I have for this! It’s like an angel’s kiss on that area just above your cheekbones, not too sparkly for the bridge of your nose and cupid’s bow and even looks great to highlight your brow bone.
*Bourjois Bronzing Powder from Boots – you can see my full review for this here but for now, one word…WOW
*Dior Nudeskin Highlight – another amazing beauty I discovered recently, this is so subtle and gives that radiance from within look, see my full review here.
I hope this answers some highlight and contour routine questions, give it a go and let me know how you get on! To help keep my videos short, this is normally a step I have already done for most of my tutorials so I wanted to show you exactly what my steps are.
