I’ve said it before, H&M loves a collaboration! Weather it’s with designers or campaigning a superstar such as Beyonce ♥
Already having done collaborations with Stella McCartney, Martin Margiela, Versace, Lanvin and even Karl Lagerfeld it comes as no surprise that one of the most influential women in fashion is up next. Parisian designer, Isabel Marant creates the wardrobe essentials for the off duty model and actress. When these stylish celebs are out shopping, landing at JKF or on their way to a shoot you can always be sure you’ll spot a piece or two by Marant! Her fans include the likes of Kate Moss, Miranda Kerr and Alexa Chung ♥

Her Autumn/Winter 2013/14 collection was elegantly plain and simple. Layers of fine gauge and ribbed knits in black, ivory and navy made up key looks, worn over barely there mini skirts or simple jersey leggings. Smart tailoring and outerwear borrowed from a well dressed man gave the looks a more formal and fashion forward edge.
I am creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian:
Promised to bring a ‘French touch’ to H&M, details on the collection are limited but judging by past collaborations I think it’s safe to say we can expect the best bits from Isabel Marant’s collection, with ethnic detailing and Parisian chic with a sense of youthfulness. ‘I am creating something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy,’ says the designer herself about the forthcoming collection. The designer who made wedge hi-top trainers and peasant style blouses iconic fashion statements will for the first time offer a menswear range for the H&M collection as well.
The H&M and Isabel Marant collection launches in-store and online on November the 14th, judging by previous collections it is bound to be a sell-out ♥
