L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Eyeshadow Review

As I mentioned in my August favourites video, I have been obsessing over the L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Eyeshadows for quite some time but have not been able to get hold of the two shades I wanted as they are just so popular! I stumbled across these two particular shades in Boots one day, just swatching (as you do!) unfortunately they only had the testers but I just instantly fell in love with how pigmented they are, the gold in particular.

These shadows are creamy in texture but metallic when applied, creating the perfect shadow for the metallic eyes trend this winter. They are great to lightly sweep over the eyelids for an everyday make-up look but also fully buildable to create a smoky eye, with a primer the colours look even more vibrant. They are super easy to apply with fingers or a brush as they have a creamy texture.

Lumiere 502 is a gorgeous metallic pewter shade which is ideal for creating those Donna Karen metallic eyes which are so on trend. I use this shade pretty much everyday at the moment, swept over my lids or in the crease of my eye to create a perfect contour. This shade is also great to use for a daytime smokey eye, it doesn’t look too dramatic.

Lumiere 500 is just so dreamy! It’s such a pretty shade of gold which will flatter any skintone, the creamy texture means it has just the right amount of shimmer and sparkle with no fall out. It is very similar to the shade ‘Half Baked‘ from the Naked Palette which I love! Used with a good primer the pigmentation is almost identical, you can see my Instagram for a comparison swatch.

For a drugstore eyeshadow under £10 these eyeshadows and shades are amazing ♥
