The NARS Laced with Edge collection is about the use of technology on colour and texture, the packaging for this collection has a digitally enhanced lace design which gives an obvious texture. As a complete NARS obsessed beauty addict here is my Christmas party make-up look tutorial, using some key pieces from the collection ♥
I have always heard amazing reviews about NARS eyeshadows and I love these two shades, for me *Gabon is the obvious favourite. It’s neutral yet smokey with that festive sparkle that has a goldish undertone but still subtle. It is dark enough to wear alone or as an accent and so gorgeous for lining the eyes, it’s a versatile shade. *Canberra has a gorgeous sparkle with cold blue undertones, it’s not for everyone but if you want to explore with colour it should be this purple shade. At this time of year there are so many deep purple tones around but I haven’t seen many with such a cool undertone. I love this shade for the crease and lining my lower lash line. These shades really bring out the festive sparkle in you with bronzed green and sparkling lavender.
I love to contour and my matte multiple does a wonderful job but this bronzer just gives me that finishing touch, especially when I am going from day to night or want my bronzer to stand out that little bit more. I love how easy this *bronzer is to blend, I know everyone raves about Laguna but for my skin tone and colouring it has to be Casino.
I do love NARS blushers, they are super pigmented and literally last the entire day! Deep Throat is my go-to blush I adore it and in the Spring (if you watch my videos you will know) I tend to reach for Gilda quite often. *Ukraine is a winter version of my two favourite shades, a deep rose that has a natural finish when applied very lightly.
This time of year is such an obvious choice for a deep red lip and *Deadly Catch is just that, these Hardwired lipsticks have a futuristic sheen to them. They are still super pigmented but give your lips that festive pearly glow with just one swipe.
Generally I am not a fan of lipgloss but as its party season why not! This lipgloss is very smooth and the formula is not sticky at all, you can see me use *Burning Love in my video tutorial but I also love the shade *Corsica which is a gloss version of my everyday nude shade with a pinkish undertone…love it!
I was surprised with how much I actually liked the shade Sherwood, usually I stick to very pink and neutral tones for my nails but got into the festive spirit. I love the bold metallic finish on these *nail colours as well as the long-lasting formula.
