Smashbox Primer Oil Review ♥

These days everyone seems to love a beauty oil, I am actually guilty of this myself. Being a huge fan already of the Smashbox Primer Water and the Smashbox BB Water, you can imagine my excitement when I heard about the launch of the brand new Smashbox Primer Oil!

The Smashbox Primer Oil gives your skin a flawless healthy glow before you even apply make-up, I like to use it just after moisturiser and let it absorb into my skin for at least 45 minutes before applying make-up. I can still create a matte look if I want to but I have a healthy glow throughout the day.

‘In the studio, the perfect take always starts with a great canvas. Radiant skin makes the look come alive and the healthier and younger it looks, the better the result.’  – Davis Factor, Smashbox Cosmetics Founder and Photographer

I’m a huge believer in primer generally, they prepare the skin for make-up and make your make-up last longer not to mention provide a gorgeous canvas for make-up application. I also think a good primer is good for your skin and provides a healthy barrier between your skin and any make-up you apply. With beauty oils becoming the power weapon in skincare, the natural step is a primer oil and here it is! Some make-up artists even use it over make-up to give a vibrant glow just above the cheekbones. The Smashbox Primer Oil fuses together 15 oils which all have their own skin benefits such as Argan, Arabica and Jojoba so this is a primer that really is good for your skin.

Why stop at your face? I also read that you can use the Smashbox Primer Oil on your elbows (which I have been doing and now have very smooth elbows just after two days!) You can also use it as a cuticle oil so it has multiple uses. You can see my full video review on the Smashbox Primer Oil below.
