SUMARIE is an award winning independent London-based swimwear label and online concept store known for its chic and fashion-forward designs. All this hot weather we’ve been having in the UK has got me thinking about swimwear so this brand review is perfect ♥
Following the success of the SUMARIE boutique in fashionable Portobello Road, London and recently launched online concept store, the exciting SUMARIE brand was the ideal candidate for Talent de Intima. Winning ‘Innovative Swimwear Design’ Award 2013.
With more than 12 years of experience in the Fashion Industry, founder Marie Su has worked for brands such as Givenchy and Jean Paul Gaultier before launching SUMARIE in 2011. Their SS13 collection is bang on trend with key monochrome pieces and luxe embellishments. The new Mix & Match collection is catered to suit all body shapes offering the ideal option for every stylish woman. Inspired by the French Riviera, the chic range of colour block and monochrome bikini bras, bandeau tops and briefs are available to purchase separately, in a range of sizes, offering a bespoke look and couture fit.

Marie Su herself said, “This summer there is a strong monochrome trend, I absolutely love monochrome, but as a designer I do not follow the passing trends. SUMARIE has a really strong signature style inspired by the 1960’s French Riviera, colour blocking, flattering and timeless shapes, innovative solutions and high end textiles.” The range also offers swimsuits, kaftans, beach bags and accessories perfect for your holiday wardrobe ♥

The brand has also shared a couple of images from the Spring Summer 2014 ‘Femme Fatale’ collection which looks so lush. Following the signature style of the brand with classic monochrome pieces and influences from fashion trends, this is definitely one swimwear brand to get your hands on ♥
