Concealer is essential to my make-up routine, for covering up, highlighting and brightening up my face. If you watch my YouTube videos you will know that I am obsessed with the NARS Radiant Creamy concealer. Towards the end of last year my obsession with make-up settings sprays began so for the past few weeks I have put to the test Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Weightless Concealer and All Night Setting Spray.
The packaging is simple and elegant, it does have a little weight to it due to the glass bottle, this type of applicator is my favourite. No mess and fuss-free, I can just glide on the product where desired on my face and blend with a beauty blender. This concealer really lives up to its name in the fact that it is completely weightless and because it is so lightweight it does not crease under the eyes (bonus!) I wouldn’t say this is the best concealer to highlight with as I don’t feel it has that brightening effect but I think that makes it easier to use for blemish cover ups. It doesn’t highlight or draw attention to areas you have tried to cover up. This is a gorgeous, fuss-free concealer to use everyday especially in the summer months when you don’t want to weigh your skin down with lots of make-up. Recently, I have been reaching for this concealer everyday hence being in my June favourites. You can also see me using the Naked Skin Weightless Concealer in my latest video for Asiana.tv and my New Everyday Summer Make-up video which will be on my YouTube channel by the end of the week.
There was a time when I thought make-up setting sprays were just for nights out or ‘special occasions’ but these days my make-up routine is not complete without a spritz of this. I love the packaging which is very Urban Decayesque with the signature purple lid and font. What can I say, this setting spray leaves you with that freshly done make-up look all night (or day) I don’t think it has the best scent, it’s not s strong scent and doesn’t last but it smells a tiny bit like fake tan to me. My make-up though is in tact for hours, through summer sweat, dancing at night and the daytime mummy rush. It leaves your make-up feeling refreshed but I wouldn’t say it’s particularly hydrating. It is still a must-have though to make staying glamorous that little bit easier. I also love that there’s a handbag sized version available so you can spritz on the go if you need to ♥
