We all know about how good water is for hydration, our skin and general well-being. All year round my skin always needs hydration, that’s why I have fallen head over heels for the Smashbox Water Trio. You have seen my individual reviews for these products; the Smashbox Primer Water, the BB Water and the new Primer Oil, but I wanted to talk to you about them as the water trio.

Starting with the Primer Water, I love to spritz over my face ready for make-up and it gives me a nice refreshing feel. The BB Water is very hydrating in itself and it is made up of the Primer Water, Primer Oil and BB cream so I wouldn’t say you need this and the Primer Oil. The BB Water is a lovely product for everyday flawless looking skin which really gives you a glow. It gives just right amount of coverage and acts almost like a tinted moisturiser but it is so lightweight. It is buildable and you can simply apply with your fingers quickly and effortlessly.

Individually all three products are super hydrating and feel so good against the skin. Your skin feels smooth, soft and looks like it has an inner glow. When I’m using a foundation or something with a bit more coverage that’s when I love using the Primer Oil either mixed in with my foundation or a couple of drops beforehand.
