As a blogger, I write a lot of posts, try a lot of new products and change my opinions on products a lot over time. Every year, I like to look back over what I have achieved and look forward to what I want to achieve in the forthcoming year. As part of this process I looked over my top performing posts over the past year and today I am going to share my top five posts from last year with you.
It’s funny how the top post is actually not even a beauty post but a more fashion post. like most women, I am always on the look out for the perfect pair of tights. So when Heist approached me I took on the project more for personal reasons rather than the blogger and I was then so truly impressed by the tights! I still stand by my views of this post and have just recently repurchased some more tights. They are great!
The 12 Beauty Hacks you need to know was written for Pinterest, to grab attention and become a post with tips that can be used over and over so I am so happy this has been a top post! If you haven’t seen yet, get your beauty tips!
I swear by setting spray and I wanted to discuss something I am really passionate about (hence the beauty blog I know!) I had tried quite a few setting sprays and wanted to share my thoughts on the best one. This is also a post that I wasn’t too happy with the imagery for so I went back a couple of months later and photographed again and then replaced the images. Turns out, it was worth the hassle!
The Smashbox Full Exposure vs the Double Exposure was not in any way sponsored by the brand. I truly love both of these palettes and had a lot of people asking me which I prefer. This is a another post I went back and changed the images for as I was not happy with my images the first time around, I also noticed how popular this post was becoming so I wanted to be proud of the images.
I received the Make Up For Ever Excessive Lash mascara at a press event and instantly fell in love with the mascara I had to blog about it! I have talked about the mascara a lot over my social channels especially on YouTube and here on the blog. I’m glad it’s a popular post because it’s a great mascara!
