Last week I went to the press event for Sweaty Betty, in true style of the brand we were greeted with fresh vegetable and fruit smoothies and trays of sushi but first kick starting the evening with boxing yoga. Yes, that’s right a bit of ‘relaxing’ yoga with the physical elements and let’s face it difficulties of boxing! The session was only half an hour rather than the full hour of a regular class but it still worked pretty much every muscle in my body, it was a great workout and the next day I had those successful workout pains all over!

Born in the heart of Notting Hill, London, Sweaty Betty has been ensuring style meets performance in women’s fitness clothing for over 13 years. Aiming to ‘inspire women to find empowerment through fitness’. There are now over 30 boutiques around the UK including concessions in prestigious department stores such as Selfridges and Harrods. With a fully variety from yoga clothes to running kit, ski to beach, gym wear to tennis apparel, Sweaty Betty is the fitness clothing brand of choice.
Their headquarters in Fulham reflect the values of the brand, with a gym studio on site. This is where the press event took place along with the boxing yoga session. After the workout, guests were shown the forthcoming Autumn/Winter range, inspired by the galaxy and space. With full ranges for yoga pro, dance statement, running, ski wear, swim training and cool down including loungewear the full collection looked fabulous.
With links to fashion trends in pop colours that are seen throughout the different ranges, as well as print, necklines and inverted straps on seamless tops. My favourite fabric and colour was a particular grey tone called ‘star dust marl’ seen on tops, yoga pants, dancewear and hooded zip up tops. You can read more about full Autumn Winter range in my article for Ideal Magazine (coming soon!)
After looking through the range we were shown a short and inspiring campaign video featuring some of the hero pieces from the range. The full range launches on the 2nd of August so get signed up to those fitness classes to show off your new gear and get fit of course ♥
